These Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by JC Bike Servicing and Repairs ("we", "our", or "us") to you ("the customer"). By booking a service or repair with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.
We offer bicycle servicing and repairs, which may be carried out at our premises, on-site, or via collection and delivery (where agreed). All work will be performed to a professional standard using suitable parts and tools.
- Bookings may be made by website, phone, text, email, or in person.
- Estimates are provided in good faith based on an initial inspection. If further work is needed, we will contact you for approval before proceeding.
- Estimates are valid for 14 days from the date given.
- Labour charges are based on our standard rate (available on request).
- We may use new, refurbished, or customer-supplied parts. We are not responsible for faults in parts supplied by the customer.
- Where original or branded parts are unavailable, we may use high-quality alternatives unless you specifically request otherwise.
- Payment is due upon completion of work, unless otherwise agreed.
- We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, or other methods agreed in advance.
- Bikes will not be released until payment is received in full.
- We may offer a collection and delivery service within a reasonable radius, by prior arrangement.
- Bikes must be collected within 7 days of completion unless otherwise agreed. Uncollected bikes may incur a daily storage fee of £5.
- Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- We reserve the right to charge a fee for repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations.
- All work is guaranteed for 30 days from the date of completion, covering labour and any new parts supplied by us.
- This warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, accidents, or further wear and tear.
- We are not liable for personal injury, damage, or loss arising from failure to maintain your bike following our service, or from any unauthorised repairs made afterward.
- While we take all reasonable care, bikes and personal belongings are left with us at the owner’s risk.
- Please remove accessories, (including but not limited to locks and lights) or valuables before leaving your bike.
- We collect customer contact details solely for the purposes of booking, invoicing, and communication.
- We do not share your information with third parties without consent, except where required by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the English courts.
